Research

The drive of the professorship is to develop methods in civil engineering, design, analysis and modelling for reinforced, additively manufactured concrete and other mineral materials (3DCP).

Research topics include:

• Mechanical characterisation of fresh state properties for mineral materials,
• Mechanical properties in the hardened state as a function of process parameters,
• Reinforcement technologies and performance characteristics for 3DCP and other additive manufacturing processes for concrete,
• Behaviour of large-scale 3DCP components,
• Structural behaviour of 3DCP under special loading conditions.
