Praxistag Exkursion 2026: Experiencing Civil Engineering in Practice!
Aktuelle Meldungen |
On June 24, 2026, our Bachelor's students from the Chair of Concrete and Masonry Structures at the Technical University of Munich, together with the Bavarian Construction Industry Association, had the opportunity to visit four exciting construction sites in and around Munich as part of the annual Practical Field Day.
The program included the Kustermannpark underground garage rehabilitation, the new Perlach school campus, the new TUM Campus Taufkirchen, and the Fürstenried West F-T1 residential development. The day concluded with a discussion and networking session with representatives of the construction industry at the headquarters of the Bavarian Construction Industry Association.
The excursion provided valuable insights into the practical implementation of planning, structural design, and construction. Especially valuable was the opportunity to exchange ideas with experienced engineers and industry leaders about current challenges, career opportunities, and pathways into professional practice.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the Bavarian Construction Industry Association, the Förderverein Massivbau der TU München e.V., and all participating companies for organizing this inspiring event and providing our students with valuable practical insights. We are already looking forward to next year's Practical Field Day!
