New project at the Geothermal Energy Group: GWmuc - Climate adaptation concept of the City of Munich in the area of groundwater.

The City of Munich has commissioned TUM’s Chair of Hydrogeology to update the maximum groundwater level map, essential for urban planning and groundwater management. The project also examines how climate and anthropogenic factors, such as civil engineering measures, sealing and unsealing, as well as increased precipitation water management and infiltration, influence urban groundwater levels.
