The Energy Atlas of Bavaria as the internet portal of the Bavarian State Government on the energy transition provides necessary information bases on sustainable energies for communes and the general public.

The products obtained in the GePo and GeoPOT projects continue to be used through the geoportal in munich - Groundwater data - City of Munich

The Web Application is currently an internal use application for the state of munich and has been designed for the implementation of the GEO.KW project results in three main areas:

1. basis for the development of municipal or neighbourhood energy strategies
2. information basis for licensing practice
3. provision of planning bases for expert planners
