VAO Symposium 2027, Davos

Every two years the VAO Symposium facilitates the exchange of the latest research findings and future collaborative research pursuits among members, stakeholders and interested individuals. The symposium emphasizes on productive interdisciplinary collaboration among those working in the Atmosphere, Cryosphere, Hydrosphere, Biosphere, Earth-Surface- and Geosphere Fields. It thrives to connect researchers and stakeholders facing climate change challenges in alpine regions for direct exchange. A common vision developed during the symposium will guide the network's direction and impact in the coming years. The aim is to generate comprehensive scientific and public access to key environmental data and knowledge from Alpine regions as a basis for informed action. The VAO Symposium is planned as 2-day event in the beautiful setting of Hochgebirgsklinik Davos Wolfgang from 10.-11. March 2027.
