Personal details
After passing his first state law examination in 1985, Prof. Kuchler worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Public Law at the University of Freiburg/Breisgau until he received his doctorate in 1989. Since passing his second state law examination in 1989, he has been working as a lawyer, specializing in public construction, planning, and environmental law, as well as public commercial law. From 1993 to 1998, Prof. Kuchler was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of Leipzig. Since 2002, he has been a lecturer in planning and environmental law at the Technical University of Munich. On April 15, 2008, he was appointed honorary professor on the recommendation of the TUM.
