Rock slope stability at the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, Egypt

The TUM Landslide Group is involved in a collaborative effort of Cairo University and TUM to investigate the rockslope stability at the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in Egypt. Ben Jacobs joined Prof. Hany Helal, Dr. Mohamed Ismael (both Cairo University) and Prof. Christian Grosse (TUM) for a field trip to the temple and obtained a high-resolution 3D point cloud for future analysis such as volume modelling, runout simulation and change detection.
