Today, a comprehensive suitbale architecture and information backbone for simulation and executing robotized construction processes does not yet exist. This subproject aims at conceiving and creating such a framework, thus enabling a virtual laboratory environment for experimenting and developing new robotized construction methods. The framework will provide fundamentals services, such as digital representations of the facility under construction and the involved processes, and at the same time provide flexible interfaces to allow the integration of new types of robotic systems, sensors and construction methods. The subproject is at the center of the research group, interacting with all other subprojects and providing common concepts and services.
