Additional Information
In general, open topics are announced on our website.
In the case of no open theses, you are welcome to suggest your own topic. To do this, you should first familiarise yourself with the research areas of the individual academic staff members. On our website, you will find information on all academic staff and their research specializations. Also, have a look at their publications.
Please contact the staff members who are specifically dealing with a topic that is of interest to you!
Information we ask you to provide:
- Reserach Proposal (max. 5 pages incl. reference section), covering
- Intro: Brief introduction to the topic and literature background
- Methodology: Outline the proposed methods used for (qualitative / quantitative) data collection, data analysis, and verification
- Data: data statement, indicating intended data used, such as specific datasets or data to be collected - highlight accessibility to data (open source, commercial provider, interviews, surveys, etc.). If dealing with company-provided data, check convidentiality details in advance!
- Reserach Question: State the hypotheses you are intending to analyze
- Expected outcome: Indicate potential and expected outcome of your work based on previous research - reflect critically against known knowledge in the field.
