We are looking forward to the guest lecture on "Evolution as an optimization tool in building simulation" by Dipl.-Ing. Alexander Schröter from Müller BBM GmbH on 10.12.2020.

The lecture will take place in the context of our seminar "Numerical Simulation Methods of Sustainability Planning" and is not public.

About the seminar:

How do we evaluate sustainability? With numerical simulation tools, predictions can be made for certain problems. Investigations can be carried out on a virtual simulation model in order to obtain information for real implementation. Complex problems can therefore be tested cost-efficiently before the first stone is delivered to the construction site.

In the seminar "Numerical Simulation Methods for Sustainable Planning" different simulation programs for stationary and transient calculation methods in the respective subject areas, such as thermal comfort, daylight, thermal building physics, energy demand (balance), are presented and the principles behind them are explained using examples. In particular, the application of the simulation results in the planning process is dealt with and independently illustrated and practiced on specific tasks.
