EERAdata goes public: Introducing the Decision Support Tool

We are delighted to invite you to our public webinar on June 2, 2021 at 11:00 CEST.

In this webinar, we will introduce you to EERAdata’s Decision Support Tool (DST), a socio-economic assessment tool designed to help regional and municipal policymakers in planning building renovation activities and generating evidence of the impact of energy efficiency investments. The DST will, therefore, allow policymakers to plan and prioritise energy efficiency investments in buildings based on a holistic assessment of building data.

We will showcase the current version of the DST and its latest developments, illustrate the technical backgrounds of the different integrated building assessment models, and provide insights into our databases. We will conclude the session with an implementers’ perspective and user stories of our partners the City of Copenhagen in Denmark, the Andalusian Energy Agency in Spain and the Municipality of Velenje in Slovenia.
The webinar is free and open to everyone.

What does the EERAdata project do?

EERAdata is a H2020 project contributing to the understanding and operationalisation of the Energy Efficiency (EE) First Principle by developing a methodology and a software tool to holistically assess the impact and multiple benefits of EE investment in the building stock on a social, economic, and environmental scale. It will furthermore expand existing decision-making processes and policies and improve building EE projects.
In short:

-       We accompany municipalities from the collection of their building stock data from different sources, (merging data) to the analysis and assessment of this data by ecological, economic and environmental criteria.

-       We develop a tool that aims to ease the process of guiding sustainable renovation activities for portfolio managers, city planners and related stakeholders.

-       This results in long-term renovation strategies, focusing on energy efficiency, socio-economic benefits and ecological quality of existing buildings.
