Green Hospital Lichtenfels - Geothermal energy use via borehole heat exchanger

The commitment of The Helmut-G.-Walther-Klinikum in Lichtenfels to environmental sustainability is reflected in the planning concept of the new building: Green Hospital. The use of geothermal energy for heating and cooling purposes adds to the sustainable energy measures. The Chair assesses the efficiency of the planned borehole heat exchanger field and makes a forecast of the thermal development.
