05/06/2014 Miloš Marjanović has joined the Landslide Research group to begin a one-year research in landslide monitoring.


Miloš' PhD thesis defended last year was regarding landslide susceptibility assessment and his latest project at Belgrade University (Serbia) involves GNSS and LiDAR landslide monitoring. As a Technical University Foundation Fellowship (TUFF) grant holder he will be joining the team in on-going campaigns at Zugspitze and at different alpine permafrost sites. Also, he will remain participating in projects in Serbia which has recently been subjected to serious flooding and landsliding as a result of cyclone Tamara. He will focus on LiDAR and field instrumentation used to monitor landslide hazards.
