Kerry Leith and co-authors have just had two new articles accepted in the Journal of Geophysical Research.
The companion papers detail the gradual development of stress and fracturing during crustal exhumation, and in particular focus on a specific form of sub-glacial fracturing that may have lead to a surprising feedback between tectonic stresses and glacial erosion in the Swiss Alps.
