The Landslide Research Group presented their research at the European Conference on Permafrost (EUCOP) in Chamonix, France, 23 June-07 July 2018. The conference covers all relevant aspects of permafrost research, engineering and outreach on a global and regional level.
In the course of the conference, Wilfried Haeberli was honored with the IPA Lifetime Achievement Award for his enormous scientific contribution and inspiration to permafrost research.
