At the end of June, Max, Ben, Felix, and Simon visited the highest DAV hut in Vorarlberg (Mannheimer Hütte) for two days to carry out a variety of geophysical and geotechnical investigations. By using ERT measurements, we want to find out whether the steep north face on whose ridge the hut stands is affected by permafrost conditions. We also set up several convergence measurement transects so that we can regularly record and observe deformations in the future.
