Last weekend, Felix and Maike joined the sixth Annual MUnich Earth SciencE (AMÜSE) PhD workshop in Hinterriß, which is funded by the Munich GeoCenter, LMU, and TUM.
AMÜSE 2022 is adressed to PhD students from all sections within the Earth Sciences departments of LMU and TUM. This year the workshop focused on publishing and introducing your scientific work, mainly focusing on writing a manuscript for a research paper, selecting the right journal, and comparing open access with traditional journals. In addition, there was enough time to get to know each other and to have scientific discussions. On Sunday, the workshop ended with a nice autumn hike in the wonderful Karwendel Nature Park.
