Beschreibung
The course gives an overview about main civil engineering issues regarded to power engineering for fossil, nuclear and renewable energy. In detail the following topics are teached: legal frame for construction in Germany, reliability and loads in civil engineering, soil mechanics and foundation, material properties of concrete, design and construction process of concrete structures, concrete structures for fossil and nuclear power plants, concrete structures for hydroelectric power stations and wind energy, dams, material properties of steel, steel structures, bolier support steel work, steel for apparatus construction, wind energy plants and steel construction for hydraulic engineering.
