Indira Shatyrbayeva

CV

Indira graduated as Master of Sciences in Petroleum Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2012. She has worked in the Oil & Gas industry mainly as a Reservoir Engineer for a number of subsurface projects in Europe, Africa, Asia and Middle East at various consultancies based in the Netherlands. In 2019 she has joined the TUM as a Research Associate within the framework of the Geothermal-Alliance Bavaria.

Research Interest

Indira carries out research with a close-up view on pore pressure predictions and wellbore stability issues. These analyses are built upon combination of distinct areas of Earth science such as drilling, petrophysics, geology and geophysics. Geographically, those studies encompass primarily Bavarian Foreland Molasse Basin.
