Beschreibung
The seminar adresses fundamental research questions related to the geological evolution of sedimentary basins and related tectonic and sedimentary processes as well as the distribution of physical properties.

Master's degree in geosciences or related field(s)
Lehr- und Lernmethoden
Every week a current topic from the field of basin research is presented by a participant and then discussed. External experts in the field of basin research are invited to present latest research results on selected occasions.

Beschreibung
The seminar addresses scientifical, technical, economic and political aspects of various geoenergy applications, such as deep geothermal energy, carbon capture and storage, underground hydrogen storage and natural hydrogen exploration. The focus is on the subsurface aspects of geoenergy including but not limited to geology, geophysics, drilling and reservoir engineering.

Participation in the seminar is voluntary without an examination. The seminar is intended for interested master's students, doctoral students and researchers who are working on a topic in the field of geoenergies or want to work on it in the future.
Lehr- und Lernmethoden
Every week a current topic from the field of geoenergies is briefly introduced by a participant and then discussed. The aim is to work out the most important scientific and technical questions in a joint conclusion.
