Theses

The Chair of Structural Analysis offers numerous theses (bachelor's, master's, and student research projects) in the areas of research activity at the chair. If you would like to write a thesis at our Chair of Structural Analysis and Dynamics, there are several options available to you:

• If you are interested in one of the theses listed under “Offered Theses”, you can contact the supervisor listed for that thesis directly to find out more about the work on offer.
• Write to a member of staff at the Chair whose field of work you are interested in. You can find information about individual staff members under Members and about the various research projects under Research.
• We now also offer you the opportunity to introduce yourself to us using the application form provided. This allows you to inform us of your interests without obligation, and we will try to match you with a suitable supervisor. You can send the completed form to bewerbung.st@ed.tum.de.

Requirements for bachelor's thesis: good to very good grades in the modules Statics 1, Statics 2, and Statics Supplementary Module.
Requirements for master's thesis: good to very good grades in the modules Surface Structures and Finite Element Method.
