Description
Analysis and design, structural design of composite bridges from the practical point of view, taking into account the DIN technical reports. Assembly operations and manufacturing processes.
Prerequisites
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Visit the mandatory courses prior or simultaneous deepening steel construction is recommended.
Teaching and learning methods
The course is a classic course in form of a PowerPoint presentation, supplemented by blackboard and other notes. Due to the immense scope of today's static calculations for composite bridge structures with computerized methods, only a comprehensive overview of practical examples can be taught essentially insofar possibilities for interactive teaching methods within the available time scale (unfortunately) are very limited.
