Design of base layers based on CBR values determined in the laboratory

 

Procedure

plate-loading tests

  • 4 different base layer materials
  • 3 layer thicknesses (d = 15cm, 30cm, 45cm)
  • 2 load capacities of the base (Ev2 > 45 MN/m2 bzw. Ev2 > 120 MN/m2)
