Summary
The COST Action investigates the drivers and barriers that may have an impact on the long-term creation of low carbon regions in Europe. The aim is to develop and identify strategies and methods to assist the implementation of low carbon technologies and processes at regional level. The emphasis is on new buildings, but mainly also on existing buildings, focussing on the energy requirement for their production and operation, and the potential for using renewable energy.
