This lecture series investigates the complex system of topics that must work together to create a city that can meet the needs of the people without exceeding the carrying capacity of the planet.
The seminar will consist of a City Indicator Project that analyzes cities from around the world. 

This lecture series provides insight into basic principles of sustainable urban planning and design with a focus on answering the question: What is my role  in urban planning as an engineer?
In the seminar different developments in Munich will be analyzed in regards to improving the overall quality of the city and life in these areas. 

This seminar is designed as a workshop that allows you to optimize your presentation skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to ensure that you are selling yourself and your ideas in the most effective and convincing way possible.

In this seminar the engineering basics of urban energy systems and the sustainable and energy-efficient planning and implementation of construction and renovation processes are discussed.

How can I design buildings that will actually be able to adapt to a changing climate?
This seminar provides an introduction into the theoretical basics of numerical simulation methods and how these can be implemented in the planning of cities and buildings as well as during construction and building use.
