Sustainable water management is one of the biggest challenges facing the world today, compounded by global population growth, climate change and aging water infrastructures. Technische Universität München (TUM) bundles its expertise in engineering and natural sciences to drive water research activities aimed at meeting this challenge. The university has established a cross-disciplinary team bringing together scientists from over twenty institutes at four different faculties to protect valuable water resources and reserves over time.
